Winn Family Update

So we haven't posted in a long time, I guess Jesse is over the whole "Blogging/Keeping in Touch" phase.

Landon is so inquisitive. He loves to look at things and learn. He started having a little obsession with his feet, now he just started crawling this week. He is a happy baby for the most part, and when he is upset, he is very opinionated and wants his way. He now knows how to throw tantrums and fight me at getting in the carseat (at only 7 mo, I know, I'm in trouble)

Anela is such a little smartie and SO Charismatic its ridiculous. She is so animated and passionate, I love it. She is a big helper and absolutely adores her little brother. If anyone ever babysits Landon she gets sad or mad, "Where's my baby" or "I want my baby"

Christina got into a little crash up in the mountains one snowy morning early april and now is prepared for the snow with a jeep liberty. Christina had her performance at Byu for their Heritage week. She was in the luau and performed for the island of New Zealand. She is also going to Seattle with Nicole to go visit their old friend David in May. She is excited to be getting away for a couple days. She is also starting culinary arts school in the fall and is estatic about it. She started teaching the 7 year olds in her ward and absolutely loves all the little girls in her class. (I'm not sexist, It's an all girl class, lol) They were extremely hyper today and although she came home feeling like a failure, she knows its worth every effort.

Jesse loves spending time with his family. He is such a great help & a great daddy. Anela just loves playing with him when he is home and misses him dearly when he is at work. She asks for him all the time and we usually end up having to call him a few times a week so she can say hi and I love you. Cute huh =) He's also really exited about a half marathon & half trialthilon that him and Christina are going to be doing later this year.

When all is said and done-We feel blessed to be getting back on our feet, Its been a rough few months, I'll tell ya. =) We got our Seven Peaks and Hogle Zoo passes renewed and went to the zoo this week already. We're excited about the Soccer Season starting and have thoroughly enjoyed the last three home games in which we kicked major butt. If anyone wants to go to a game with us, we'd love the company.

Anela's First Testimony

So here are some pictures of my cute little family,
all of which are wearing church clothes they received as gifts.
Jesse got his from his mommy for christmas.
Landon, from his cousin colton for christmas and
Anela got her dress from 'uncle jordan' last year.
Landon's cute little onsie has a red tie on it. So cute.
We took this picture on her birthday. She is officially 3 years old.
She saw everyone bearing their testimonies at church and
pointed to the pulpit as she said "My turn to talk" and so Jesse
took her up. Once up there she just started saying 'No'- guess its scary
when you're finally up there. As Jesse starts talking, she sees
her neighbor friend sitting in the last couple rows and with a
big open mouth she points at her. Everyone giggles as she tries to
tell daddy who she sees. Then she gives up trying to show
Jesse where elizabeth is sitting and finally just starts
waving very dramatically. It was hilarious.
This little girl likes to empty out the toys in her cubby
and lay in there. Sometimes just for a few minutes, and other
times she'll be in there for 20 minutes or more. I wonder if
she'll ever fall asleep in there. She's so silly.

The Winn Twins & Sparkles

Above is a picture of Anela and below is a picture
of me around the same age (with my brother Jared)

Above is a picture of Jesse when he was just a little guy.
Below is Landon at 3 1/2 months. Don't they look like twins?

So Anela got a gift card for Christmas from her cousin to go to build-a-bear. She went there and this is what she picked. While all the other girls are picking teddy bears, kittens, ponies and hello kitty, our daughter gets the dinosaur and wants to put a cinderella dress on it. It is a her apparently and HER name is sparkles. When we went to check out, the guy said, "I've seen many different things while working here, and this is the first time i've ever seen someone put a dinosaur in a dress." Lots of people smiled at her or giggled. What can we say? Our daughter is original.

IGLOO

This HUGE Igloo is outside our condos, some of our neighbors made
this last week. Its neat. It took them quite a while. I wonder how
long it will take to melt. We're gonna try and get some fun pics in it.
I wonder if it'll attract homeless people :)

GIRLS NIGHT PHOTOS

My Cute Little Man fell asleep. I had to get a pic before i went to rescue his poor little head.
So a few things from this week: Little Anela has always loved to put stickers on her face. (Got me Why) Guess she thought Landon would enjoy having princesses on his face too.
Poor little man, good thing he is so patient, just like his daddy.
Landon loved trying out his new johnny jump up.
He can't jump yet of course, but likes the feeling of being
in the air and turning with his toes.
We had a girls night on Sat night and apparently some partied a little too hard :)
Nani always looks gorgeous. She did an amazing job with the girl's make up.
Lineah has a natural talent with nails, so she helped the girls paint their nails,
while Sarah entertained us with her bubbly (to say the least) personality.
We played family Fued, Diva style. We tested the girls on everything from designers to where a diva goes on the weekend. The food was yummy too.
Thanks everyone for coming, It was a blast!
We also played a game called "in my purse" and for once in your life, having extra crap in your purse paid off. Some people like me have only their wallet, keys and phone. But others have some pretty crazy things. (Batteries, Take Out Menus, Soap, Tweezers) Silly Women-
:) We all plan to have a girls night every 3-4 months.

Excited For Christmas

We are so excited for Christmas and have enjoyed the past month as it has flown by. We got to make our annual Winn ornaments out of clay, which is always fun. We got to go Christmas shopping and attend both the Kemp and Winn Family Christmas Parties. Anela got to decorate Christmas cookies with her best friend Elizabeth. She also got to see Santa at the mall, but her personality disappeared in nervousness the second she sat on his knee. Mommy thought it would be cute to get both of the kids in their Christmas hats. Landon is just the sweetest baby who wants nothing more than for mommy to love on him and hold him all day, and I am not exaggerating. He is so much fun, and spits up more than any baby I've ever met. "This is because he has his mother's appetite and eats way too much"- reports Jesse, (Christina rolls her eyes in disappointed agreeance) We hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas!
Love: The Winns
